UGC NET Exam Paper – 1 : Syllabus & Exam Pattern

UGC NET syllabus 2021 will be released by National Testing Agency (NTA) along with the release of the notification. Since UGC NET syllabus for both paper-I and -II was revised by NTA in June 2019, no changes are likely to be made to this year’s NET syllabus.

Given below is the complete UGC NET syllabus so that candidates can start their preparation for the exam well in advance. However, before going through the syllabus it is important that candidates are well-versed with the UGC NET exam pattern.

Overview of UGC NET Exam Pattern 2021

UGC NET exam comprises two papers (paper-I and -II) containing multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Candidates need to complete both the papers in a single duration of three hours.

UGC NET Syllabus for Paper-I
