Q.1 b) The ‘Swachhta Saarthi Fellowship 2022’ was announced by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the government of India under its ‘Waste to Wealth’ mission.This fellowship has been announced for empowering young innovators- who are engaged in community work of waste management- in the role of ‘Swachhta Saarthis’. ‘Waste to Wealth’ mission is one of the nine national missions of the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC).
Q.2 a) The RYSK Scheme is the flagship Central Sector Scheme of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The Scheme beneficiaries are the youth in the age-group of 15-29 years.
