In this episode of the Perspective Prog. based on ‘2 Years of Covid -19: Giant Digital Leap. Two years ago, in March 2020, the government imposed a lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19 cases. The two years since March 2020 are likely to go down as one of the toughest periods in the lives of many. This period brought about various lifestyle changes including some that may end up being permanent. The proactive implementation of digital platforms such as Aarogya Setu and e-Office not only tracked, traced and took care of coronavirus patients but also helped in business continuity during the period of restrictions put in place to fight the Covid Pandemic. This pandemic has changed the world in terms of social relations, economic activities, healthcare, education and many other aspects. Today we will discuss and analyse the role of digital technology in some of these sectors during the pandemic and the future road map.
